I got my honours degree through my course, which has helped me to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the technologies involved in the creation and delivery of digital media. With the gained appreciation of the theory, application and cultural context for the use and development of new media, giving confidence to critique and explore new areas as they are developed. During my studies, I've gained expertise in the use of computer-based authoring tools to create, 3D media, as well as exploring physical computing and human-computer interaction. I have continued to build upon my knowledge, choosing a specialist route and focusing on the areas of expertise whilst developing own authentic style.
Final Year Project & Dissertation – I created a VR environment to educate upon the marine coral ecosystem due to the impacts of climate change. The pieces purpose is to educate the user and give an empathetic insight into the user’s motivations by using VR as a tool for conservation.
